Privacy Policy
What we collect when you contact us, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Written to be read, not to be skimmed past.
Effective date: August 27, 2026. Last updated: August 27, 2026.
Who we are
Corona CA Plumbing Point ("we", "us", "our") operates coronacaplumbingpoint.com and a 24-hour telephone dispatch line for homeowners in Corona, California and the surrounding area. We are a referral service. We connect you with independent plumbing contractors; we do not perform plumbing work ourselves.
This policy explains what information we handle when you call us, email us or use this website, and it applies to that activity only. Once a contractor takes your job, that contractor handles your information under their own privacy practices, which we do not control.
Information we collect
Information you give us directly
When you call or email to request service, we collect what is needed to dispatch the work:
- Your name.
- Your phone number, and your email address if you provide one.
- The service address where the work is needed.
- A description of the plumbing problem, including details such as the age of the property, what you have already tried and access notes.
- Scheduling preferences and any access instructions, for example gate codes you choose to share.
Please do not send us payment card numbers, bank details, government identification numbers or health information. We do not need them and we do not ask for them. Payment is arranged directly between you and the contractor.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours records limited technical information when you visit: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, the pages you view, the time of your visit and the referring page. This comes from server logs and, where used, analytics tools and cookies.
Calls
Calls to our dispatch line may be monitored or recorded for quality, training and accuracy of dispatch records. California is a two-party consent state, so where a call is recorded you will be notified at the start of the call and may ask that recording be stopped or may choose not to continue.
How we use information
- To answer your inquiry and work out what the plumbing problem is likely to be.
- To match your job to an independent contractor who covers your area and does that type of work.
- To pass the job details to that contractor so they can contact you and arrive prepared.
- To follow up on the status of a job, and to handle complaints or disputes.
- To keep records of dispatched jobs.
- To maintain and improve the website, and to understand which pages people find useful.
- To comply with law, and to detect and prevent fraud or misuse of the service.
How we share information
With contractors
This is the core of the service and the main way your information is shared. To dispatch a job we give the assigned independent contractor your name, phone number, service address and the description of the problem. Without this the referral cannot happen. If you do not want your details passed to a contractor, do not submit a service request; call us and ask a general question instead.
With service providers
We use third parties to run the business, such as telephone and call-handling providers, email hosting, website hosting and analytics. They may process information on our behalf and are expected to use it only for the services they provide to us.
For legal reasons
We may disclose information where we believe it is required by law, court order or lawful request, or where it is necessary to protect our rights, your safety or the safety of others.
Business transfers
If the business is sold or reorganised, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not rent or trade contact lists to unrelated marketers. Sharing your details with the contractor assigned to your job is a referral, not a sale of a marketing list.
Calls and texts you may receive
When you contact us and provide your phone number for service, you should expect calls or text messages from us and from the assigned contractor about that job. These are service communications, not marketing. If we ever contact you for marketing purposes, you can opt out at any time by telling us on a call, replying STOP to a text, or emailing privacy@coronacaplumbingpoint.com. Message and data rates may apply. Opting out of marketing does not stop messages that are necessary to complete a job already in progress.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files a site stores on your device. Ours are used to make the site work correctly and, where analytics is enabled, to measure aggregate traffic patterns. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site remains usable, though some conveniences may be lost. Most browsers also offer a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, and we honor Global Privacy Control signals where our tools support them.
How long we keep information
We keep service request records for as long as needed to complete the job and then for a reasonable period afterwards to handle follow-up questions, warranty queries and disputes, and to meet legal and accounting obligations. Website logs and analytics data are kept for shorter periods. When information is no longer needed we delete it or aggregate it so it no longer identifies you.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we hold, and we limit access to the people who need it to dispatch and follow up on jobs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Email in particular is not a secure channel; please do not send sensitive information by email.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act gives you the following rights:
- Right to know. Request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes and the categories of parties we disclosed it to.
- Right to delete. Request deletion of personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions such as completing a transaction or complying with a legal obligation.
- Right to correct. Ask us to fix inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. If that ever changes, we will provide a clear opt-out link before doing so.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the statute.
- Right to non-discrimination. We will not deny service, charge a different price or provide a lower quality of service because you exercised a privacy right.
To make a request, call (951) 579-7936 or email privacy@coronacaplumbingpoint.com with enough detail for us to locate your records, such as the phone number and service address used for the job. We will verify your identity before acting, usually by confirming details of a request already in our records, and we will respond within the timeframes the law requires. An authorised agent may act for you with written permission.
California's "Shine the Light" law also allows residents to request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not make such disclosures.
Children
This service is intended for adults arranging work on property. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
Our pages may link to third party sites, such as a utility, a manufacturer or the Contractors State License Board. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service or the law changes. The effective date at the top of the page shows when the current version took effect. Material changes will be reflected here, and continuing to use the service after an update means the revised policy applies.
